Blacktip 144 "Kata"

                                                Date of first observation: July 2011

                                                Place: Hin Phae (Phi Phi Dorn) and Palong (Koh Phi Phi Leh)

                                                Estimated size: 0,7 m (2011)

                                                Sex: Female  

This little shark was seen again at Koh Phi Phi Leh in 2013 (see photo) which is 8 km from Long Beach. It shows that the blacktips at Long Beach do not stay at the same place, but move around in a bigger territory
